World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading
Upgrades boost the value of certain numeric stats on weapons, armor and rings. Upgrades also boost bonuses like Crit chance and PvE Damage.
If the weapon's upgrade template is %, it will be able to gain 3percent of its previous damage every time it's upgraded.
The cost for upgrading items increases when they reach the item's current level. The cost increases with the item's level.
Components
Upgrade components are items that can be put into armor, weapons, and trinkets to provide an additional stat boost or impact while they're being used. They can be obtained by crafting, buying from vendors trading, or looting. Certain upgrades also come with special cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components can only be used on equipment that has a slot. The item must be at least upgraded to blue before a component can be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other modifications, can only be applied only once. They cannot be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and Enrichments are type of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or ascending equipment, as in some items that aren't ascended. Infusions and Enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment from the ascended state or by completing a mission within the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.
An upgrade could have a prefix or suffix that alters the name of the item to the upgrade (for instance "Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost the Mark Level or Rarity, allowing players to create stronger versions of that equipment that require fewer Upgrade Crystals than would be required to achieve the same level of upgrade through normal methods.
A 'boost upgrade' can alter the attack or defense characteristics of a weapon or armor. These upgrades are available to be made from the Portative Forging Station once the player completes the cutscene and defeats the Crazed mechanic. They can be dropped by enemies while upgrading other gear or by purchasing them in the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals per.
Each upgrade increases the chance that a better-quality version of an item will be dropped during the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to keep upgrading their gear, even if they're unsure of how much it will increase after a future reset.
The process of upgrading an item could be expensive and it is likely that the item will become obsolete, or even break, when the upgrade is unsuccessful. Upgrade Crystals and assist powders are also destroyed when the upgrade fails. This is alleviated by the availability cash shop items that can double or even eliminate the possibility of failure, and some upgrades that provide the benefit of being reinserted into an item.
Glyphs
Glyphs are upgrade parts that can be inserted into special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs buff the power of all nodes within a radius around them, including pre-existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways. We recommend upgrading them as quickly as you can to level 15.
In the final game, you will often find that the most effective way to upgrade your gear is to place Glyphs. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded directly to level 15 and provide significant boosts to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to get higher nodes more quickly.
Glyphs, the sole upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and then replaced again, are the most common. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and then re-install.
The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it from your inventory. You can decide to replace it with a different Glyph with the same rank or higher rank, which will boost the overall value of the glyph.
You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of a Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain tools for gathering unlimited use as well as through Faction Crypt raids. Each Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs that you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.
Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs, you will have to attach them to your gear. Each Glyph will unlock a unique bonus that can boost the stats of a particular set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Based on the Glyph the bonus will be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.
Glyphs will boost all nodes connected to them, so it is best to place Glyphs in key places on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. For instance, a Druid should try to position their Glyphs close to their primary damage points, however, you may also want to be sure to place them near the most critical damage nodes as well.
Leveling
The upgrade system for items allows players to increase the stats of certain items by placing upgraded components in them. This is often referred to as "upping". Every upgradeable item has a level, which determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be upgraded up to a maximum level of 385. Each level requires a different amount of components to reach, and the upgrade costs increase as the item gets leveled up.
Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or purchased from some NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed will result in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to level up the item. Once enough points are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.
When a player improves the equipment they have the original item will be replaced with a new item. The same armor will be upgraded to the form of a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will also have its own set bonus. This can be a downside in that the item could become more expensive even if you don't need it.
The upgrades to items can be rerolled if the player has enough reroll tokens to be able to do this. The item will be replaced by a brand new one that is based on a level 1 base and totally different bonuses. This can be beneficial however it should not be used frequently as it could waste resources.
Certain upgrades can be rerolled many times to increase their value, giving players the ability to alter their equipment. A good example of this is Dolphin's Gift, which gives a buff when the player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or swims like dolphins). The item can be upgraded many times, increasing the maximum roll every time by 10 increments. This item can be extremely valuable in PvP as an item that is properly rolled it could be worth between 20 and 50x its non-upp'd value.
Requirements
The item upgrade r allows players to increase the level of their equippable equipment (armor weapons, weapons trinkets, and armor) above ilvl385 by presenting the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces boost the defense of the base set and upgrades to weapon items increase the damage they deal as well as their strength and dexterity.
All items can be upgraded a maximum of five times, except for hero gear that can be upgraded with eight upgrades. Every time you upgrade an object it has a chance of failing. The rate of failure increases as you go over the maximum number. Failures will result in the item returning to its original condition, which requires the player to purchase more materials than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum number.
If an item fails to upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. In addition the item will lose any gained bonuses, including crit chance and attack damage, as well as any additional effects associated with that effect (for instance, a higher healing over time or speed of reload). The player will be able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.
Whenever an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied in order from the lowest to the highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded increases its crit chance, the increase will be applied prior to any attack damage increases. Slots is a brand new attribute that has been added to item definitions. The value is calculated every time an upgrade occurs.
The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The upgrade cost for non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade--for instance, a standard equipment item might have 5 upgrades at a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero grade items will have a much lower cost for each additional upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading in comparison to standard equipment. For instance, they may require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. Whatever the case, players will need to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. Each upgrade of equipment will require different amounts of upgrade ingredients in addition to the costs mentioned above.
