World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading
Item upgrading allows players to increase the gear score of an item up to 700 and add an additional perk. Items can be upgraded if they're in your inventory and you decide to take them to the kiln.
Certain items can be upp'd to increase their stats (like an ideally made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) while other items, such as weapons do not change significantly after an upgrade and thus aren't worth upgrading.
Weapons
Upgrades to weapons can increase their numerical stats, such as attack damage, crit chance, and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons also have a flat bonus that increases their damage per second. In addition some weapons come with a set bonus that activates when three or more of the same weapon is present on a unit. In some instances, this bonus could amount to more than the amount of damage that a weapon is able to upgrade on its own.
The cost of upgrading a weapon's capabilities is contingent on the rarity of the weapon and its current level. For instance, an upgrade to a +2 weapon requires two regular Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade the weapon will continue to rise until it requires the higher level of Smithing Stones, at which the number will be reset to one.
Upgrades to weapons can also change the stats of the base. This is generally a positive aspect, but it may also have negative consequences. For items that only see use in a specific build (Whistant's shield for FB Sorcs, for example) upgrading them could make them unusable unless you get a lucky roll.
The ability to upgrade armor items to improve their effectiveness. This can boost the defense of a helm or chest as well as belts and gloves. These will boost their required strength and agility. Armor also offers a reroll option for its Enhanced Defense percent, which means that it may roll back to a lower number.
The upgrade template for a weapon displays the new stats it will gain upon upgrading and their respective values. This means that an upgrade from a sword with 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in a weapon receiving 3% of attack damage. The 3% does not mean that the weapon will hit three times less, since it is an absolute number.
Rerolling a weapon is possible by pressing the green button on the item menu with the arrows that are circling. This will reroll an item and change its statistics, but it will not reset the weapon's level or tie it to the account status.
Armor
Making a few improvements to your armor can make a a huge difference in your ability to endure. Certain sets can offer MASSIVE increases in poison or curse, fire or magic resistance, which makes traversing tough areas a breeze. The more defense your character is, the more value you get out of each point of health, so it's important to upgrade your armor as much as you can.
To improve your armor, head to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four Great Fairy Fountains available in the game and in order to unlock them all, you must complete a side quest that involves the Stable Trotters. After you've completed the main side quest and have completed the fountain that corresponds you'll be able to talk to any Great Fairy to open up the menu for upgrading your armor.
Each piece of armor can be upgraded up to three levels, and the amount of materials and Rupees required to complete each level will differ. It is possible to use anything from three Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees to upgrade the first armor piece, and between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Horns to upgrade the next one. For example, the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep up with a large group of adversaries in most cold environments and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded all the way to +20 defense, giving the protection needed to survive a full on raid with a handful of friends.
You can't upgrade armor the same as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior then you should concentrate on upgrading your armor to increase physical power or the power of spells. You should also save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor that you'll still wear at the end of the story, for example the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you use in the final boss fight, the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.
By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town and you will be able to unlock perks for your armor. You'll typically want to keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to beat the game. For example the Longsword or Battleaxe. But it's useful to have some upgrades to the helmets and chest armor so that you can get around a few monsters.

For example splash potions now have an average duration of zero,08 seconds (this is not the same as 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the item hover display). The table of potion constructed from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. This allows it to be used by players in Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons, as is the case with Java Edition. Similarly, using a potion on a full cauldron, it drains the potion and refills the bottle.
In addition, there are simmering potions made with dragon breath and splash potions. Similarly, a lingering potions' effect is extended by adding redstone to it. The table of potion ingredients has been rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions are also added, such as the potion of leaping and decomposition.
Trinkets
A trinket is a small, inexpensive ornament or piece jewelry. It could also refer to a piece of art or a decoration that serves a function but is not particularly significant like a thimble. In some cultures a trinket is a way to express friendship or affection between family members.
Players can upgrade trinkets as well as weapons, armor, and potions. Upgrades can be purchased by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Trinkets like other items that can be upgraded can be exchanged at any time without losing stats.
Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of each zone and in some cases in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are bought with tokens, gold or fragments of rare trinkets.

Upgrades to trinkets are an economical alternative to buying an entirely new one. It can be done by players for just 12 tokens. item upgrading will have the same base ilvl as old one, and will come with an additional 1% upgrade bonus.
Once the old Trinkets are no longer usable, they can be upgraded. This allows a player to increase their power and value over time. They can also be traded between players and are a popular alternative to gold.
Players must upgrade their most valuable items first. This usually refers to the most valuable-in-slot items for their class, followed by their secondaries and then other gear items that will not be replaced soon (for instance an earring or cloak). It is also important to consider your class's preferred stats when choosing which items to upgrade. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats to tank players and they want to upgrade their chest, helm and shoulders.
Trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher ilvl once they're no longer needed and the new trinket will receive an additional upgrade bonus of 1. A re-upgrade, however, can cause damage to the trinket unless it can be salvaged with a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a higher tier salvage tool. This makes upgrading trinkets more expensive than other upgrades, yet is still cheaper than purchasing a new one.
